Cheryl Casone is an American journalist currently working as the host of American Dream Home on FOX Business Network, Wednesdays at 9 pm ET. She is also a financial contributor on FOX News Channel and provides weekly job reports. Casone joined the FBN family in September 2007 as an anchor.
She attended Thunderbird High School in Phoenix and graduated in 1988. She considers both Dallas and Phoenix to be “home”.Casone went on to Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona, where he earned a B.S. in Public Relations in 1992.
Casone stated that after graduating from college, he “took a little bit of a detour.” I worked as a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines for five years and went all over the world… Traveled to Africa, Australia, and Europe, especially Western Europe. “I went to New Zealand and Nepal.”
Casone relocated to San Francisco, California, in 1997. She began attending community college before starting her job at CNX Media on the nationally syndicated program “Travel Update.” She eventually joined KRON-TV, where she worked as a business and general assignment reporter as well as an anchor for a business news show.
In June 2004, she relocated to New York City to work for MSNBC, where she was an occasional host of MSNBC Live from July 2004 until September 2005. Casone was also a freelance reporter for CBS News, working as a general assignment reporter, and a freelance business correspondent for CNN, mostly reporting from the New York Stock Exchange. She joined Fox News in November 2006.
She previously hosted Cashin’ In and was a frequent guest host on The Claman Countdown at Fox. Casone was also the previous host of “Fox Business Now,” an hourly business web update that is available on Yahoo and FoxNews.com.
Casone has provided live reporting from Middle Eastern countries such as Syria, Jordan, the West Bank, and Israel. She has interviewed international leaders including Tony Blair, Shimon Peres, and Hillary Clinton.
