Chelsea Chandler is an award-winning American meteorologist and news personality currently serving as a meteorologist and co-host for FOX13 Memphis (WHBQ-TV). Based in Memphis, Tennessee, she is a familiar face on Good Morning Memphis weekend editions and provides critical coverage during severe weather events. A proud Memphis native, Chelsea’s career at FOX13 is a “dream come true” as she follows in the footsteps of her mother, who performed in the same studio 50 years ago.
Chelsea’s media career in Memphis spans over a decade. She began as a traffic anchor at WMC Action News 5 before a brief hiatus due to an accident. Her path then took a turn into sports, where she worked as an anchor for The Mighty 990, covered the Memphis Grizzlies, and performed sideline reporting for ESPN. Before joining FOX13 in November 2022, she spent seven years at ABC24 Memphis (WATN-TV) as a meteorologist, traffic anchor, and reporter.
