Allison Rodriguez is an American journalist currently working as an anchor at 12News. She joined Team 12 in 2023 and started anchoring Today in AZ on May 15th.
After covering Arizona for 12 years, viewers have become used to seeing her face. In Yuma, she began her professional career as an anchor and reporter, covering stories on both the state and international fronts.
In 2013, she relocated to Phoenix and became an ABC15 employee. For the majority of her career, Allison has been a morning person. When she moved to Phoenix, she worked as the weekend morning anchor. She eventually covered news and anchored weekday shows on ABC15 Mornings.
She was born and raised in Chicago together with her three siblings. Allison attended Columbia College Chicago majoring in Journalism. While the Windy City may be her hometown, she and her beloved husband now consider the Valley home.
She relocated to the Bay Area in 2019 and took a brief vacation from the sun. She covered some of the major topics of the day, including the PG&E power outages and wildfires, while she was a reporter and anchor there.
Early in 2020, Allison returned to Arizona to resume her coverage of towns all around the state, from the Navajo Nation to the border with Mexico. Allison has a strong bond with the people of Arizona, and she is thrilled to tell their tales on 12News.
