Neil Cavuto Biography
Neil Cavuto is an American television news anchor, executive, commentator, and business journalist for FOX News currently working as Senior Vice President, anchor, and Managing Editor of Business News for both FOX News Channel (FNC) and FOX Business Network (FBN).
He presently hosts FNC’s Your World with Neil Cavuto (weekdays 4-5 PM/ET), FNC’s CAVUTO Live (Saturdays 10 AM-12 PM/ET), and FBN’s Cavuto: Coast to Coast (weekdays 12-1 PM/ET). In addition to anchoring daily shows and breaking news specials on FNC and FBN, Cavuto is in charge of both networks’ business news material and FBN’s special events coverage. He joined the network upon its inception in 1996.

Cavuto contributed to the network’s 2024 election coverage, as well as breaking news coverage of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, which included a special episode of CAVUTO Live. Earlier in 2022, he had a town hall on his FBN show Cavuto: Coast to Coast titled Inflation in America.
Cavuto has anchored FBN’s election coverage since 2007, including the lengthy election night special report in 2020. I don’t hide that I have had a tough life in many respects. I fought back a near-life-ending cancer, only to end up with multiple sclerosis years later. Doctors have since told me that the odds of contracting both diseases in the same life are something like two million to one! Yet here I am, marching on, continuing to do my job when doctors who’ve examined my scans and MRIs tell me I shouldn’t be walking or talking.
According to Charles Payne on Your World on June 22, 2016, Cavuto had recently had and was recuperating from heart surgery.
In October 2021, Cavuto tested positive for COVID-19. He had been vaccinated and stated, “If I hadn’t been vaccinated, and with all of my medical conditions, this would have been a far worse situation.” It’s not, since I did, and I’m still alive as a result. He then acquired the sickness a second time and was hospitalized for pneumonia. After recovering, he hailed vaccination effectiveness and urged for their usage.
