Andrew Humphrey is an Emmy Award-winning meteorologist and the Chief Meteorologist for FOX13 News (WHBQ-TV) in Memphis, Tennessee. He joined the station in November 2022, leading the Severe Weather Center 13 team across the 5, 6, 9, and 10 p.m. newscasts. Humphrey is uniquely distinguished as the only broadcast meteorologist in the world with a degree in meteorology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Before moving to the Mid-South, Humphrey spent 20 years at WDIV-TV (Local 4) in Detroit, where he served as a meteorologist and station scientist. His extensive career also includes roles as Chief Meteorologist at WUPW-TV (FOX 36) in Toledo and forecasting for global networks like CNN, CNN International, and CNBC Europe.
