Mark Sayre is an American journalist currently working as a news reporter at KTVU FOX 2 News based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He joined the station in 2022 and primarily covers the South Bay, including San Jose and the Silicon Valley. A Bay Area native, Mark considers it a privilege to tell the stories of local residents, especially regarding how government policy impacts their daily lives.
Mark formerly worked as a reporter for KPIX-TV in San Francisco, where he also focused on South Bay coverage. His extensive career includes roles at KCBS/KCAL in Los Angeles and two different news stations in Las Vegas, where he served in various capacities including news anchor and investigative reporter. Interestingly, he actually began his journey in the industry as a news intern at KTVU earlier in his career.
